<p>1. Buat sebuah server Radius<br />

<p>2. Buat profile dan set profile tersebut untuk menggunakan Radius Server<br />

<p>4. Tambahkan Router kita dalam hal ini localhost.<br />

<b>Cisco IOS Modes of Operation</b><br />
The Cisco IOS software provides access to several different command modes.<br />
Each command mode provides a different group of related commands.<br />
For security purposes, the Cisco IOS software provides two levels of access to<br />
commands: user and privileged. The unprivileged user mode is called user EXEC<br />
mode. The privileged mode is called privileged EXEC mode and requires a<br />
password. The commands available in user EXEC mode are a subset of the<br />
commands available in privileged EXEC mode.<br />
The following table describes some of the most commonly used modes, how to<br />
enter the modes, and the resulting prompts. The prompt helps you identify which<br />
mode you are in and, therefore, which commands are available to you<br />

User EXEC Mode:<br />
When you are connected to the router, you are started in user EXEC mode. The<br />
user EXEC commands are a subset of the privileged EXEC commands.<br />
Privileged EXEC Mode:<br />
Privileged commands include the following:<br />
• Configure – Changes the software configuration.<br />
• Debug – Display process and hardware event messages.<br />
• Setup – Enter configuration information at the prompts.<br />
Enter the command disable to exit from the privileged EXEC mode and return to<br />
user EXEC mode.<br />
Configuration Mode<br />
Configuration mode has a set of submodes that you use for modifying interface<br />
settings, routing protocol settings, line settings, and so forth. Use caution with<br />
configuration mode because all changes you enter take effect immediately.<br />
To enter configuration mode, enter the command configure terminal and exit by<br />
pressing Ctrl-Z.<br />
Note:<br />
Almost every configuration command also has a no form. In general, use the no<br />
form to disable a feature or function. Use the command without the keyword no<br />
to re-enable a disabled feature or to enable a feature that is disabled by default.<br />
For example, IP routing is enabled by default. To disable IP routing, enter the no<br />
ip routing command and enter ip routing to re-enable it.<br />
Getting Help<br />
In any command mode, you can get a list of available commands by entering a<br />
question mark (?).<br />
Router&gt;?<br />
To obtain a list of commands that begin with a particular character sequence,<br />
type in those characters followed immediately by the question mark (?).<br />
Router#co?<br />

To list keywords or arguments, enter a question mark in place of a keyword or<br />
argument. Include a space before the question mark.<br />

You can also abbreviate commands and keywords by entering just enough<br />
characters to make the command unique from other commands. For example,<br />
you can abbreviate the show command to sh.<br />
Configuration Files<br />
Any time you make changes to the router configuration, you must save the<br />
changes to memory because if you do not they will be lost if there is a system<br />
reload or power outage. There are two types of configuration files: the running<br />
(current operating) configuration and the startup configuration.<br />
Use the following privileged mode commands to work with configuration files.<br />
• configure terminal – modify the running configuration manually<br />
from the terminal.<br />
• show running-config – display the running configuration.<br />
• show startup-config – display the startup configuration.<br />
• copy running-config startup-config – copy the running<br />
configuration to the startup configuration.<br />
• copy startup-config running-config – copy the startup<br />
configuration to the running configuration.<br />
• erase startup-config – erase the startup-configuration in NVRAM.<br />
• copy tftp running-config – load a configuration file stored on a<br />
Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) server into the running<br />
configuration.<br />
• copy running-config tftp – store the running configuration on a<br />
TFTP server.<br />
IP Address Configuration<br />
Take the following steps to configure the IP address of an interface.<br />
Step 1: Enter privileged EXEC mode:<br />
Router&gt;enable password<br />
Step 2: Enter the configure terminal command to enter global configuration<br />
mode.<br />
Router#config terminal<br />
Step 3: Enter the interface type slot/port (for Cisco 7000 series) or interface<br />
type port (for Cisco 2500 series) to enter the interface configuration mode.<br />
Example:<br />
Router (config)#interface ethernet 0/1<br />
Step 4: Enter the IP address and subnet mask of the interface using the ip<br />
address ipaddress subnetmask command.<br />
Example,<br />
Router (config-if)#ip address 192.168.10.1 255.255.255.0<br />
Step 5: Exit the configuration mode by pressing Ctrl-Z<br />
Router(config-if)#[Ctrl-Z]<br />
Routing Protocol Configuration<br />
Routing Information Protocol (RIP)<br />
Step 1: Enter privileged EXEC mode:<br />
Router&gt;enable password<br />
Step 2: Enter the configure terminal command to enter global configuration<br />
mode.<br />
Router#config terminal<br />
Step 3: Enter the router rip command<br />
Router(config)#router rip<br />
Step 4: Add the network number to use RIP and repeat this step for all the<br />
numbers.<br />
Router(config-router)#network network-number<br />
Example: Router(config-router)#network 192.168.10.0<br />
Note: To turn off RIP, use the no router rip command.<br />
Router(config)#no router rip<br />
Other useful commands<br />
• Specify a RIP Version<br />
By default, the software receives RIP version 1 and version 2 packets, but sends<br />
only version 1 packets. To control which RIP version an interface sends, use one<br />
of the following commands in interface configuration mode:<br />

Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)<br />
Step 1: Enter privileged EXEC mode:<br />
Router&gt;enable password<br />
Step 2: Enter the configure terminal command to enter global configuration<br />
mode.<br />
Router#config terminal<br />
Step 3: Enter the router ospf command and follow by the process-id.<br />
Router(config)#router ospf process-id<br />
Pick the process-id which is not being used. To determine what ids<br />
are being used, issue the show process command.<br />
Router(config)#show process<br />
Step 4: Add the network number, mask and area-id<br />
Router(config-router)#network network-number mask area area-id<br />
The network-number identifies the network using OSPF. The mask tells which<br />
bits to use from the network-number, and the area-id is used for determining<br />
areas in an OSPF configuration.<br />
Example:<br />
Router(config-router)#network 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 area<br />
0.0.0.0<br />
Repeat this step for all the network numbers.<br />
To turn off OSPF, use the following command.<br />
Router(config)#no router ospf process-id<br />
Other useful commands<br />
• Configure OSPF Interface Parameters<br />
You are not required to alter any of these parameters, but some interface<br />
parameters must be consistent across all routers in an attached network.<br />
In interface configuration mode, specify any of the following:<br />

packet on an OSPF interface.<br />

Specify the number of seconds between<br />

between the hello packets that a router<br />

Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (IGRP)<br />
• Create the IGRP Routing Process<br />
To create the IGRP routing process, use the following required commands<br />
starting in global configuration mode.<br />

Enable an IGRP routing process, which<br />
place you in router configuration mode.<br />

Associate networks with an IGRP<br />
routing process.<br />
• Disable Holddown<br />
The holddown mechanism is used to help avoid routing loop in the network, but<br />
has the effect of increasing the topology convergence time.<br />
To disable holddowns with IGRP, use the following command in router<br />
configuration mode. All devices in an IGRP autonomous system must be<br />
consistent in their use of holddowns.<br />

• Enforce a Maximum Network Diameter<br />
Define a maximum diameter to the IGRP network. Routes whose hop counts<br />
exceed this diameter are not advertised. The default maximum diameter is 100<br />
hops. The maximum diameter is 255 hops.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Pengertian dasar</p>
<p>DHCP (Dynamic Configuration Protocol) adalah layanan yang secara otomatis memberikan nomor IP kepada komputer yang memintanya. Komputer yang memberikan nomor IP disebut sebagai DHCP server, sedangkan komputer yang meminta nomor IP disebut sebagai DHCP Client. Dengan demikian administrator tidak perlu lagi harus memberikan nomor IP secara manual pada saat konfigurasi TCP/IP, tapi cukup dengan memberikan referensi kepada DHCP Server.<br />
Pada saat kedua DHCP client dihidupkan , maka komputer tersebut melakukan request ke DHCP-Server untuk mendapatkan nomor IP. DHCP menjawab dengan memberikan nomor IP yang ada di database DHCP. DHCP Server setelah memberikan nomor IP, maka server meminjamkan (lease) nomor IP yang ada ke DHCP-Client dan mencoret nomor IP tersebut dari daftar pool. Nomor IP diberikan bersama dengan subnet mask dan default gateway. Jika tidak ada lagi nomor IP yang dapat diberikan, maka client tidak dapat menginisialisasi TCP/IP, dengan sendirinya tidak dapat tersambung pada jaringan tersebut.<br />
Setelah periode waktu tertentu, maka pemakaian DHCP Client tersebut dinyatakan selesaidan client tidak memperbaharui permintaan kembali, maka nomor IP tersebut dikembalikan kepada DHCP Server, dan server dapat memberikan nomor IP tersebut kepada Client yang membutuhkan. Lama periode ini dapat ditentukan dalam menit, jam, bulan atau selamanya. Jangka waktu disebut leased period.<br />
Cara Kerja DHCP :<br />
DHCP menggunakan 4 tahapan proses untuk memberikan konfigurasi nomor IP. (Jika Clietn punya NIC Card lebih dari satu dan perlu no IP lebih dari 1 maka proses DHCP dijalankan untuk setiap adaptor secara sendiri-sendiri) :<br />
1. IP Least Request<br />
Client meminta nomor IP ke server (Broadcast mencari DHCP server).<br />
2. IP Least Offer<br />
DHCP server (bisa satu atau lebih server jika memang ada 2 atau lebih DHCP server) yang mempunyai no IP memberikan penawaran ke client tersebut.<br />
3. IP Lease Selection<br />
Client memilih penawaran DHCP Server yng pertama diterima dan kembali melakukan broadcast dengan message menyetujui peminjaman tersebut kepada DHCP Server<br />
4. IP Lease Acknowledge<br />
DHCP Server yang menang memberikan jawaban atas pesan tersebut berupa konfirmasi no IP dan informasi lain kepada Client dengan sebuah ACKnowledgment. Kemudian client melakukan inisialisasi dengan mengikat (binding) nomor IP tersebut dan client dapat bekerja pada jaringan tersebut.<br />
Sedangkan DHCP Server yang lain menarik tawarannya kembali.<br />
Tahap pertama adalah proses instalasi dan konfigurasi DHCP server yang dilakukan<br />
pada PC yang akan difungsikan sebagai server.</p>
<p>A. Proses instalasi DHCP Server<br />
1. Login ke sistem Linux sebagai root.<br />
2. Catatlah, berapa nomer IP address dan nama host dari PC yang anda gunakan.                     Setelah itu, juga catat IP address dari komputer client (gunakan perintah ifconfig dan         hostname).<br />
3. Pastikan bahwa komputer server yang anda gunakan sudah terhubung ke komputer         client (gunakan perintah ping).<br />
4. Untuk menjalankan service DHCP diperlukan paket program yang bernama                        dhcp*- xxx.rpm. Cek apakah program tersebut sudah terinstall atau belum.                <b># rpm –qa | grep dhcp</b> Jika ada tampilan seperti berikut ini berarti di komputer anda         program DHCP server sudah terinstall.<br />

dhcp-3.0pl1-23                                                                                                                                                                     </b>        Jika program sudah terinstall, langsung kerjakan langkah nomor 8.<br />
5. Jika program DHCP belum ada, installah dengan cara sbb. Masukkan CD Rom Redhat         #2 dan ketiklah perintah berikut ini<b>.<br />
# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom<br />
# cd /mnt/cdrom<br />
# ls –l<br />
# cd RedHat<br />
# ls –l<br />
# cd RPMS<br />
# ls –l dhcp*<br />
# rpm –ivh dhcp*<br />
</b>    6. Jika tidak ditemukan dhcp-xxxx.rpm (xxx = nomer versi) cari dengan search engine         <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> <b><br />
</b>    7. Instalasi program dhcp server.<b><br />
# rpm –ivh dhcp*.rpm<br />
</b>    8. Catatlah di direktori mana saja program dhcp diinstall.<b><br />
# rpm –ql dhcp</b><b><br />
# man dhcpd<br />
</b>    9. Konfigurasi DHCP Server.<br />
Untuk membuat file konfigurasi DHCP server dapat kita gunakan file contoh                       konfigurasi DHCP server yang telah disediakan.<b><br />

10. Mengaktifkan service DHCP server.<br />
Untuk menjalankan DHCP server ketikkan perintah:<br />
<b># service dhcpd start</b><br />
Untuk mematikan dhcp server gunakan perintah :<br />
<b># service dhcpd stop</b><br />
Untuk me-restart dhcp service gunakan :<br />
<b># service dhcpd restart</b><br />
Untuk mengetahui status dari service dhcp gunakan :<br />
<b># service dhcpd status </b><b><br />
</b>    11. Menghapus rule firewall.<b><br />
</b>          Redhat Linux versi 8 atau yang lebih baru, akan mengaktifkan firewall secara default           sehingga semua akses dari luar akan ditolak. Untuk kepentingan percobaan ini, ada           baiknya untuk sementar semua rule firewall dihapus. Gunakan perintah :<b><br />
# iptables –F<br />
</b>    12. Jalankan perintah :                                                                                                                                                           <b># tail /var/log/messages</b><br />
Copy paste hasilnya. Apa yang dapat dilihat dari file<b> /var/log/messages</b><br />
13. Konfigurasi DHCP client Setting DHCP client pada Windows XP. Masuk sebagai Administrator. Masukan password, Pilih <b>1. control panel</b>, <b>2.</b> <b>Network                 Connection</b>, <b>3. Local Area Connection</b>,<b> 4. Properties</b>, <b>5. Internet Protocol</b><br />
<b>          (TCP/IP),</b> <b>6. General</b>. Pada tab general pilih <b>Obtain an IP address                                automatically dan Obtain DNS server addresses.<br />
</b>Pada Tab Alternate configuration, pilih <b>Automatic private IP address</b>.<br />
Lalu buka command prompt dan jalankan perintah ini :<br />
<b>C:\Documents and setting\admin&gt;ipconfig /release</b><br />
Lanjutkan dg perintah berikut pada command prompt<br />
<b> C:\Documents and setting\admin&gt;ipconfig /renew</b><br />
Capture hasil yang didapat. Apakah IP, domain-name, IP DNS, gateway sesuai dg konfigurasi dapat dhcpd.conf?                                                                                                                                            14. Jalankan perintah :<br />
<b># tail /var/log/messages</b><br />
Copy paste hasilnya. Apa yang dapat dilihat dari file<br />
<b>/var/log/message</b>s ?<br />
15. Reboot komputer anda, masuk ke Linux dan mulailah melakukan setting<br />
setting DHCP client pada Linux :<br />
Pilih : <b>System, Administration, Network</b> Klik dua kali pada <b>Devices, eth0</b><br />
Pada tab <b>General</b>, pilih <b>Automatically obtain IP address settings with dhcp. </b>Pilih <b>OK</b> dan simpan perubahan setting jaringan.<br />
16. Matikan ethernet card anda:<br />
<b>#ifdown eth0</b><br />
17. Nyalakan kembali ethernet card anda:<br />
<b>#ifup eth0</b><br />
18. Lihatlah IP yang dipakai dg perintah :<br />
<b>#ifconfig</b><br />
Copy paste hasil output nomor IP<br />
19. Untuk mengecek gateway, gunakan perintah :<br />
<b># route -n</b><br />
Copy paste hasil output<br />
20. Cek DNS :<br />
<b># vi /etc/resolv.conf</b><br />
Copy paste hasil output<br />
21. Anda telah melihat hasil settingan DHCP di linux client anda, apakah<br />
sesuai dg settingan yang anda buat pada <b>dhcpd.conf</b> ?<br />
22. Uji Coba DHCP Server<br />
Untuk melihat kinerja DHCP server, perhatikan file berikut ini. Buka file berikut di DHCP server<br />
<b>#vi /var/lib/dhcp/dhcp.leases</b><br />
Copy paste hasil vi. Samakah dg IP yang dikirimkan ke client windows dan linux.<br />
23. Uji coba DHCP client. Buka file berikut di DHCP server.<br />
<b># vi /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient-eth0-leases</b><br />
Copy paste hasilnya. Bandingkan hasilnya dg perintah langkah 18-20.<br />
Samakah ? Mengapa ?<br />
24. Mematikan service.<br />
Perintah-perintah berikut ini ditujukan untuk mematikan service dhcp server, ketikkan perintah-perintah berikut ini.<br />

<b># rpm –e dhcp</b><br />

Biaye pasang baru dirumah cuman 500 rebu ame buat patungan akses bulanan 250 rebu, total 750 rebu ente udeh bisa liat liat negeri orang ame cari informasi ame atu lagi berite. Gak pake pulsa telepon, enggak dibatesin waktunye.<br />
Kalo usaha wartel ente turun pendapatannye, jangan nyerah tambahin warnet aje.<br />
Cuman pasang baru 2 jutaan (tergantung lokasi) ame bayar patungan akses bulanan (tergantung banyaknye komputer).</p>
